Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos on the market. It uses lidar for navigation, creating maps of rooms and floors.

The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which comprises flooring in the kitchen, dining area, and bathrooms and also a carpet in the middle and a large area. It was capable of driving close to walls and even across raised thresholds without any problems. However it was a bit difficult getting down the stairs in one step. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and lifted itself when it was near carpets or rugs.

The docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated waters prior to every mopping session. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water for deep cleaning. The S1's tank of water holds enough for about a dozen cleaning sessions before it has to be empty, but it will differ based on how often you use the mop.

The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. In order to do this, you'll have to clean the dirty water tank regularly to prevent it from clogging. Also, you'll need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to avoid them getting clogged up with dirt or dust. However, overall, the S1 is simple to maintain, particularly compared to other models which require more effort to maintain.

1. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is an efficient solution for your cleaning requirements. It offers outstanding cleaning results and hands-off maintenance making it a top contender for our best mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition, and an extended side brush guarantee a thorough, custom-designed clean.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up fine and large debris from both hard floors and carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests efficiently while avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping power of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that automatically swings out in order to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and a mop pad that extends along baseboards.

Its navigation system is intelligent, navigating tight spaces and negotiating stairs without skipping a beat. It can easily move from one room to another without changing direction it is a useful feature for larger homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than the ones of other competitors, and leaves a huge margin between obstacles. This can lead to missed spots.
